
Crownway Residences Policies
Eligibility
Guests must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking.
A valid government-issued ID (passport or driver’s license) must be provided prior to check-in.
The lead guest is responsible for all individuals staying at the property and must ensure all guests comply with these terms and conditions.
Booking Period
The rental period begins at the agreed check-in time and ends at the agreed check-out time.
Late check-outs or early check-ins must be approved in advance and may incur additional charges.
Failure to vacate the property on time may result in extra charges or additional nights being billed.
Payment and Security Deposit
All booking fees must be paid in full before check-in unless otherwise agreed.
A refundable security deposit of £200–£500 (depending on the property) may be required before the stay.
The security deposit will be held for up to 7–14 days after check-out to cover any potential costs including but not limited to:
• Damage to the property or furniture
• Missing items
• Excessive cleaning
• Smoking violations
• Noise complaints or neighbour disturbance
• Late check-out charges
• Breach of rental agreement
If no issues arise, the full deposit will be refunded using the original payment method.
If any charges occur, the amount will be deducted from the deposit.
If damages exceed the deposit amount, the guest agrees to pay the outstanding balance.
Fines, Damages and Administration Fees
Guests are responsible for any damage, rule violations, or legal penalties during their stay.
This includes but is not limited to:
• Property damage
• Noise complaints or fines
• Illegal activities
• Lost keys or lock replacements
• Parking violations
• Local council penalties
An administration fee of £30 may be applied for each incident requiring processing and handling.
The company reserves the right to deduct these charges from the security deposit or charge the guest directly.
Property Condition and Responsibility
The property will be provided in clean and good condition at check-in.
Guests must:
• Keep the property clean and tidy
• Respect furniture and appliances
• Dispose of rubbish properly
• Report any damage immediately
• Treat the property responsibly
Guests are fully responsible for any damage caused during their stay.
Occupancy and Guest Policy
Only guests listed in the booking are allowed to stay at the property.
Unauthorized guests, parties, or events are strictly prohibited.
If unauthorized guests or parties are discovered:
• The booking may be terminated immediately
• The security deposit may be retained
• Additional charges may apply
• Guests may be asked to leave without refund
The maximum occupancy must not be exceeded at any time.
Smoking, Drugs and Prohibited Use
Smoking and drug use inside the property are strictly prohibited.
If evidence of smoking or drug use is found:
• A £100–£200 deep cleaning fee will be charged
• The security deposit may be retained
• The booking may be terminated immediately
Illegal activities of any kind are strictly forbidden and will be reported to authorities.
Cleaning Policy
A standard cleaning fee is included in the booking.
Guests must leave the property in reasonable condition.
Excessive mess, damage, or heavy cleaning requirements may result in an additional £100+ cleaning charge.
The company reserves the right to determine whether additional cleaning is required.
Noise and Neighbours
Guests must respect neighbours and maintain reasonable noise levels at all times.
Quiet hours: 10 PM – 8 AM
Noise complaints may result in:
• Immediate termination of the booking
• Security deposit deduction
• Removal from the property without refund
Maintenance and Repairs
Guests must report any maintenance or mechanical issues immediately.
Guests must not attempt to repair or modify anything in the property.
Any damage caused by negligence or misuse will be charged to the guest.
Damages and Incidents
Any damages or incidents must be reported immediately.
The company reserves the right to assess damages and charge accordingly.
Guests agree to cooperate fully with any investigation or insurance claim.
Check In and Check Out
Check-in: As agreed in booking
Check-out: As agreed in booking
Late check-out without approval may result in:
• £25–£50 per hour charge
• Additional night charge if significantly delayed
Keys must be returned as instructed.
Lost keys may result in a £350+ replacement fee.
Cancellations
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before check-in
• Cancellation within 48 hours: £50 fee
• Same-day cancellation: 50% of booking fee
• No-show: No refund
Liability
The company is not responsible for:
• Loss of personal belongings
• Injuries during the stay
• External service disruptions (internet, utilities, building issues) beyond reasonable control
Guests stay at the property at their own risk.
